Why do single Russian and Ukrainian women seek Western men? |
Each woman, who starts searching a foreign man, has her own reasons for doing this. First of all, Ukrainian and Russian statistics states that the number of women is bigger than of men. Moreover Russian and Ukrainian men die earlier than women do, which causes a big number of single Russian and Ukrainian women, who wish to start a happy family. Secondly, Ukrainian and Russian men are notorious for their bad habits. Russian men are world-known for their unchecked hard drinking. It can’t be said that the problem doesn’t exist in other countries, but it is not so big, as it is in Russia. Beside hard drinking, our men possess other “nice” features – they are laziness, inconstancy, no striving for self-improvement. Naturally not all Russian and Ukrainian men are similar – far from being so – but those, who are lucky exceptions, are mostly married… Thirdly, living standards in Ukraine are much lower than in Western countries. That’s why Russian and Ukrainian brides search Western men. It doesn’t mean that our women long for only money – in no way! – they simply try to exercise their right for happiness and worthy lifestyle. Another thing, which foreign men are famous for, is conventional family values. And this is also peculiar feature or Russian and Ukrainian wives. The problem, which is worth mentioning, is economic problems of Russian and Ukrainian families. The average marriage age for men is 20-24 y.o, and for women it is 18-20 y.o. The young couple encounters a lot of problems. In a “young family” husband demands constant mothering from his young wife, while both are still University students. The income of the young family budget is mostly their parents’ help, as it is impossible to live only for scholarship in Russia and Ukraine. And after some time a great number of such young families break apart in a couple of years, having already at least one child. Men find their second partner very quickly, as there’s a lot of young beautiful women in Russia and Ukraine! At the same time the divorced woman with a child practically can’t find a worthy partner. Russian men don’t like accepting responsibility for a strange child. Therefore a woman with a child is unlikely to get married again, no matter if she’s young, beautiful, well-educated and has a good job. Besides, women sometimes feel as if serving personnel in a Russian family. And so women start their search for a Western husband. At the end, the following fact should be mentioned. I will say the following fact. Russian and Ukrainian women are unique creatures. For them family is a top priority. They are ready to sacrifice a career for the sake of being together with her husband and children. If you give much attention, love and care, if you appreciate her efforts, she will make you the happiest.
